Pure nostalgia: London in the swinging sixties - about a young graduating art student, Annabel Spencer, and her eventual rise to fame as a fashion designer. How a strikingly beautiful girl whom she meets for a brief period at college becomes pivotal to her success and how these two women's careers and love lives become uncannily entwined.
It tells an intriguing love story hampered by loose morals, drug taking and emotional conflict - at a time when anything risqué goes - and frequently does. This novel reveals the scandal and glamour of a fascinatingly decadent and revolutionary period in history. Highly recommended.

Already read this? Then you can also now enjoy the spin off sequel entitled, JOANNA (also 5* rated) also **FREE ** for the next 5days. It's about a briefly mentioned character in A FACE TO DIE FOR, and both novels are hugely enjoyable holiday reads. Each book stands alone and can be read in any order.

Best wishes to you and yours for a happy and healthy 2015!

Wonderful news!

Hi,
Had some really wonderful news over the weekend!... Justin was given the go ahead by his consultant on Thursday to start doing some gentle load bearing on his right leg and foot. At hydro therapy physio on Friday he came out of the water and took his first few steps by the pool, albeit I think, with the aid of a crutch! AND he said it didn't hurt him!! It was very emotional for us to hear the brilliant news in an excited text from Lianne, his wife, while we were shopping in Debenhams. Mark and I were both so overcome with tears of joy at the time and had to go and have a coffee to recover!
Fantastic Xmas present for us all! Yay! Hope he'll slowly be able to build up from this and get full mobility back now. Despite being quite early days yet, and having to take it still very carefully, he's just so fully motivated now :o) Lianne says he's had a big grin on his face just about ever since!!!
It's been such a worrying and upsetting time for us all over the past 14 weeks and we can only hope, God willing, he really is going to make a full recovery. :0)
